Collin Oldham: Cello Teacher and Performer

Portland, Oregon native Collin Oldham has recently returned to his hometown and is busily building his teaching studio! He has performed and recorded with alternative musical groups like the Decemberists, Richmond Fontaine, and the Portland Cello Project. He has also performed with the National Symphony, the Oregon Symphony, the Louisville Orchestra and the Washington Opera. As a chamber musician, he has appeared with the Corigliano, Mariner and Carpe Diem String Quartets, the Verge Ensemble (Washington, D.C.) and Ensemble Aleph (Paris, France). He studied cello with Hans Jørgen Jensen at Northwestern University, Susannah Smith Onwood at the University of Louisville, Dmitry Miller at the Moscow Conservatory, and Ronald Leonard at the University of Southern California.
